You have created a truly wonderful site your photos are beautiful, as a "expat pom" from Nottingham, I visited your Lake District in 2004, being a big fan of JRRT, who wrote Lord Of The Rings, the Lake District reminded me of Middle Earth.
Please Keep the site going. "ONE PHOTO TO RULE THEM ALL". Thank-you and all the best. |

Hello and a huge THANK YOU for all these beautiful pictures! I took a trip through Northern England this autumn including some corners of the Lake District. The landscape is so lovely there that I can barely stand it to wait some time to get there again. It`s great to look at the wonderful images you captured and even recognize some places I went to, - almost like a little visit there in my mind. I've instantly bookmarked this page and am looking forward to the new pictures :o) Have a nice Christmas time! |

I am so excited to have clicked into this website. I love and have never been to an English countryside. But, the moors have always fascinated me. Something about the beauty in their mystery. Perhaps one day I can be there and take pleasure in the real thing. But, for now, I will be ever elated to explore via the website and disappear during my afternoon break. Many thanks for your Godly giving and generosity to share. God's blessings and hearty thanks. |

Hey, Andy, that's a great site! Some pictures are almost incredibly good and look like a work of art: Grasmere and Rydal Water, for example, or that "Dramatic Light in Langdale" of the more recent. I visit this beautiful site regularly, have been visiting it for two years and have hundreds of pictures on my hard disk. Great! Thank you. |

My sister and I were evacuated here in the war. I visited my mum in Kent every year until she passed away in 2004. We have kept in touch with our Cumbrian family for over 60 years and visited there often. As my sister lives in Oregon, USA and I am in Canada we decided to scatter mum's ashes in the fells. What an awesome experience. I just love it there and your photos are brilliant. Thank you for sharing them. |

I've been coming to The Lake District since 1989; my parents have got a timeshare in Elterwater. I really enjoy the beauty of The Lakes and the peace and quiet. I usually come to the timeshare for a late summer holiday at the end of August, although I haven't been for a couple of years now. The last time I was in The Lake District was in August 2003 when I brought my then girlfriend and her parents to the timeshare and they loved it too. I'm looking forward to returning to The Lakes soon.
